In the very first years of operations, OptiCom began to invest in IT training and seminars with the aim of promoting the development of IT technology in Latvia. Since 1997 one of the largest IT forums in Baltics – "Latvian Networking School" (www.lds.lv/en) being held on a semi-annual basis, where its participants – Latvian IT professionals from different fields and industries – have an excellent opportunity to gain theoretical and practical knowledge about new IT products and technologies.

Moreover, OptiCom organizes other free education events, seminars and trainings led by leading specialists and covering the most modern IT solutions and technical aspects of implementing set technologies.
